Hi there! I’m Sarah Huisken (sounds like “Houston”)! I’m a storyboard artist and episodic director in the animation industry. Shows I’ve worked on include Digman!, Royal Crackers and Danger & Eggs. I am a remote worker and currently work from my home in the Twin Cities.

In 2018, I received a Daytime Emmy for Directing in an Animated Children’s Program. I share the distinction with my fellow directors on Danger & Eggs.

Movies are my favorite thing in the world and I try watch them whenever I can! I am a part of the Cult Film Collective, which organizes 16mm and 35mm screenings in Minneapolis.

When I’m not parked in front of a movie, I’m either perfecting my pizza recipe or paying Magic: The Gathering. I also recently started practicing kendo and currently hold a 3-kyu rank.
